Vintage Hair Styles at Goodwood Revival
Goodwood Revival is all about style and if you are going to dress vintage to impress you must have a hairstyle to match.
So look out for spectacular goings-on at the Vintage Hair Lounge marquee “Over the Road” and opposite Butlin’s, because the Southampton based vintage hair and make-up specialists, are in the mood for celebrating!
Not only will there be a 30 strong team of Vintage Hair Lounge trained vintage hair stylists and make-up artists ready to perfect your vintage look of any era, the salon and theme for Vintage Hair Lounge this year is 1930s holidays, the golden era of leisure time, and the golden age for the hairdressing and cosmetics professions.
Three styles to look out for
Below are three stunning styles that the Vintage Hair Lounge team can create and should give you a taste of what to expect at Goodwood Revival
If 2012 was anything to go by, the Vintage Hair Lounge marquee is establishing a bit of a reputation as a must see destination for visitors. With a 12 metre open frontage, the joy of watching the recreation of authentic vintage hair and make-up styles on beautifully dressed women, is a unique experience akin to viewing the getting ready of hundreds of actors for a period film.
Its a family event
Visitors are encouraged to pre-book so as to better plan their time at Revival, but the salon will be open all day throughout the event (13-15 September) for bookings and walk-in appointments.
If you are visiting on Friday, there is a special press event being held at the salon around midday, with a few more vintage surprises in the pipeline.
Led by mother and daughter team Gloria and Sharon Holloway, Vintage Hair Lounge not only guarantee that your hair will look the part but also be long-lasting and the results will be wind proof, rain proof and helicopter proof!
