A beautifully-renovated Regency country house hotel based in the heart of the New Forest, this luxury hotel is designed to be modern and contemporary without trampling on the original charm of this 13th-century hunting lodge.

New Forest Fayre

There are a huge range of dining options available at the Lime Wood Hotel. The Hartnett Holder & Co. restaurant offers high cuisine with a fun, home-cooked feel, serving a menu which combines British classics with Italian influences.

The culinary team, headed by celebrity chef Angela Hartnett and the Lime Wood’s Luke Holder, can be watched in action in The Kitchen Table – a bespoke dining area for up to ten people where you can interact with the chefs and learn about their craft.

This behind-the-scenes openness extends to other areas of the hotel; for example, the Smoke House (where the restaurant’s meat and fish are smoked and preserved) is always open to new visitors.

There’s also Raw and Cured, a chilled-out food bar and rooftop herb garden which serves a variety of cured meat and fish dishes as well as fresh salads, fruit juices and smoothies.

If it is privacy you desire there are plenty of private dining options for you, with several secluded rooms to choose from.

The hotel’s working wine cellar can host parties of up to 20, while the Scullery is available for larger groups of up to 50. There’s also the Study, which is ideal for more intimate dining, and the Cedar Room situated next to Hartnett Holder & Co which features large bay windows and a beautiful terrace area.

A Relaxing Atmosphere

And if it is spirit and body that also needs a top-up then you should combine the spa into your visit.

From yoga in the rooftop herb garden, to a sauna with forest views, or Ayurvedic therapies to a state-of-the-art Technogym, this hotel provides an all-round approach to health and happiness.

There is even the opportunity to use a shared treatment room, mud house, steam room or swim inside and out. With so much on offer, you may well be tempted to spend a whole weekend in this countryside retreat.

Either way Atlas Helicopters can fly you there and back for lunch – as a guide it is around 30 minutes from London – or we can pick you up a couple of days later.

To book your special occasion call our friendly Operations Team on +44(0)203 012 0100. or use the form below if you are curious about the cost.
