Hartwell House Hotel is two miles west of Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire, and easily accessible by Helicopter from London or anywhere in the South West. Once home of exiled King of France Louis XVIII, it is situated in 90 acres of landscaped parkland, and now operated by National Trust.
The Hotel building is Grade I listed, having beautiful rooms with rococo ceilings and antique furniture and paintings. As well as dining, this 4 star hotel has a full range of facilities for guests including a wide range of guest suites, a health spa and conference and event facilities.
The main restaurant is AA 3 Rosettes rated, and offers both day and evening dining. Many of their dishes use seasonal local farm and county produce, as well as their own Hartwell Orchards and Garden fruit, vegetables and herbs.
Hartwell House hotel has its own helipad, with helicopters able to land and take off from 9:30am to 7:00pm. Outside of these hours it is possible to land at an alternative location just a short distance from the hotel, with local transport arranged. When flying in, the approved flight path provides excellent views of the landscaped grounds.
