Hours Saved by Flight to Isle of Mull

If you want a beautiful place to visit in the UK then the Highlands of Scotland should be your next destination. From the peaks of the mountains to the shores of the lochs you are surrounded by landscapes almost untouched for millennia.
The only problem with this gorgeous terrain is the time it takes to reach your destination. If you have time on your hands then go by car or train, but should you want to reduce your journey times and take in the magnificent panorama then a helicopter flight is an ideal solution.

Reducing your Travel Time
A perfect example was presented to us in August with a family who regularly holiday on the Isle of Mull, which boasts the delightful Glenforsa Hotel and airstrip.
This journey would have normally taken them 11 hours by car and ferry but with Atlas, that was reduced to 3 hours and some glorious sights en route.

The Glenforsa Hotel
This lovely hotel was built in 1968 and overlooks the Sound of Mull. Described as a “rural boutique hotel” it is actually an imported Norwegian log building with warm, rustic rooms that have knotty-pine walls and ceilings.
To take in the majestic surroundings there is an observation lounge, giving you a panoramic view of the sound and landscaped grounds. If you fancy a game of golf the Craignure Golf Club is only 8 miles away.
There is an adjacent airfield and if you would like to take a trip to the Isle of Mull or travel across the Scottish Highlands please contact Atlas’ Operations team or telephone 0125 663 5000 and they’ll be happy to plan and book the whole of your journey.
