Our Flight Path To Normality
The big Boris announcement has happened, but what does this really mean for you, your family, and your travel plans?
Whilst we are still awaiting some more detail on the plan, we know that things are beginning to return to some form of normality and, we’re sure you are itching to get out as much as we are.
Since the announcement, we have been inundated with people booking travel to various events and planning their summer in advance, but if you’re still undecided as to where to go and what to do in the coming weeks and months, this helpful guide should give you some inspiration.
What’s happening in March?
8th March onwards – Although children are likely to be back at school from the 8th March, any meeting outdoors or unnecessary travel is still off the cards, however, we are still flying our business clients across the UK, and this will still be available to you going forward.
29th March – Yes! We can start to meet people outside again and travel is starting to be permitted. If you have longed to get back on the golf course or missed your favourite UK fishing spot, now is the time to get booking those activities. Fancy something new? The Atlas team can help you select the best locations around the UK.
With so many people wanting to get back out, planning ahead is critical to get your travel dates and course secured.
Do more in April!
12th April onwards – As we move through April, the world will be starting to open up again and overnight stays will be permitted. The sooner the better, to start booking those Easter holiday trips and weekends away ready for those first, long-awaited, trips away from home.
If you are looking for a self-catered week away in a luxurious and private setting, you won’t have to wait much longer to get there, and if you just can’t pick the perfect place for your first get-away, let our team guide you in picking the perfect place, and we’ll even book everything for you too!
Make the most of May
The sun is out, the days are getting much lighter and the world is feeling like a much bigger and brighter place to be again. From the 17th of May, we’ll be nearly there!
Outdoor events are now in full swing, indoor hospitality will once again be open. This is when we’re likely to see the return of the big sporting and entertainment events. If you deferred your tickets to this year but haven’t yet organised your travel, truly make it a day to remember by chartering a helicopter to your event.
Roll on June…
We made it, and the sky really is the limit in June. We’ll see a return of all the events we love, being able to see our loved ones, pubs and restaurants will be bustling. It will feel like a world pre-COVID with a long, warm summer ahead.
We anticipate that the Epsom Derby and Royal Ascot will be the month’s two biggest events, and we are already seeing a number of bookings coming through for these events, closely followed by the British Grand Prix in July.
This summer will truly be a summer to remember, so before we get fully booked, make sure your best summer goes as smoothly as possible by flying with Atlas.
