Your Itinerary Begins With Hambledon Vineyard
Departing from central London, within 20 minutes you’ll have crossed the South Downs and arrived close to the coast at Hambledon Vineyard. In blind tastings their English sparkling wine is beating its French cousins from Champagne and it waits for your approval.
The tour of the winery will demonstrate why it is a winner. Years of scientific knowledge and effort has been poured into making the whole operation as precise and effective as possible.
Hambledon Vineyard has planted 50 acres of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier and is the only gravity-fed, state-of-the-art winery in the UK.
As inspiring as the wines are, the plans they have for the future will see this house become a force to be reckoned with.
You Choose Your Fine Dining
Lunch can be served wherever you like. We have six luxury restaurants available for you via our Heli-Dining service all of which are under 20 minutes from Hambledon:
All of these have a great reputation for a fine dining experience and make an ideal sojourn during your tour. If there is another hotel in Hampshire you’d rather visit just inform the Operations Team and they’ll be happy to add it to your itinerary.
Currently the final destination is a short flight from the restaurant of your choice..
Award-Winning Gin at Bombay Sapphire Distillery
Based at Laverstoke Mill in rural Hampshire, the Bombay Sapphire Distillery is in a conservation area with over 1000 years of history. The distillery showcases the care, skill and artistry behind every drop of Bombay Sapphire, and allows you to discover the flavours of the botanicals which make this gin unique.
Learn about these ten botanicals, grown in the iconic glasshouses designed by Thomas Heatherwick. Watch the production of gin behind the scenes in the Dakin Still House, and uncover the secrets of Bombay Sapphire’s unique vapour-infusion distillation process. Find your personal taste profile in their Dry Room, then use your profile to order a complimentary cocktail from the Mill Bar.
For over 225 years, these Victorian and Georgian buildings that sit astride the crystal clear River Test, produced the Bank of England’s bank note paper. Now, Laverstoke Mill is a state-of-the-art sustainable distillery, which produces every drop of Bombay Sapphire gin.
The Garlic Farm is on the Tour
One of our destinations is a culinary delighted appreciated by top chefs across the UK – The Garlic Farm on the Isle of Wight. For 50 years they have been expertly cultivating their crop while also infusing products from chutney to vodka, beer and ice cream.

The Hidden Star of the Tour
The wonderful views and the new perspective are the hidden stars of this tour. Flying over the rolling South Downs with the English channel glinting in the distance; seeing landmarks such as the Devil’s Punch Bowl near Hindhead, or historic Portsmouth harbour are all on the agenda.
You could also be travelling to the Isle of Wight, it is only 10 minutes from Hambledon Vineyard and with the Priory Bay Hotel as one of our dining locations, a quick flight across the Solent shows off all the advantages of this form of travelling.
The helicopter gives you the freedom of movement that no other mode of transport provides, plus the timetable is moulded to fit your needs and destinations. You’ll cover a lot of ground during this tour but not spend a great deal of time in the air.
The Tour Draws to a Close
Your return to central London will be swift and with chauffeured transport waiting to take you home, you’ll reflect on a day of taste sensations and the knowledge that there are some wonderful people, making great products in Hampshire.
Don’t lift a finger, let Atlas’ Operations Team arrange the whole tour for you. Just tell them the date and they will organise the rest.
